Email us from your registered address with the request. We’ll verify and confirm.

Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. This explains what data we collect and how we use it.
1. What We Collect
Name, .edu email, profile info, listings, messages, and device data. Payment info handled by Stripe/Venmo (not stored by us). Self-reported location for listings.
2. How We Use Info
Verify student identity, process payments, prevent fraud, improve performance, and send transactional emails.
3. What We Don’t Do
No real-time tracking. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
4. Sharing
Shared only with payment processors, hosting/analytics providers, or law enforcement if required.
5. Your Rights
Request deletion or access to your data anytime at support@handoffmarketplace.com.
6. Data Security
We use modern encryption and safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.
7. Children’s Privacy
Not for users under 13. Accounts discovered under 13 will be deleted.
Terms of Service
Welcome to Handoff, operated by Handoff App LLC. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who Can Use Handoff
18+, or 13+ with parental consent; current college student with verified .edu email; lawful use only.
2. Account Requirements
Verify your .edu email. You are responsible for your account activity. We may suspend accounts for violations.
3. What You Can and Can't Sell
No illegal or stolen goods. In-person and digital exchanges allowed. Price gouging may result in bans.
4. Messaging & Transactions
Buyers and sellers can message in-app. Confirm payment and delivery carefully before completing a sale.
5. Payments & Payouts
Payments via Stripe and Venmo. Sellers are paid manually within 24h after buyer confirmation or review.
6. Disputes
Either party may report issues with screenshots. Our review decisions are final.
7. Bans & Termination
We may ban users for fraud, harassment, or violations. Banned users cannot rejoin.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Handoff is not liable for scams or failed transactions. Use the app at your own risk.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use means you accept updates.
